Primary Arms has yet to make a 22 dovetail adapter plate for their mini dot, so I'm stuck looking at junk from fea-bay or amazon.
I have two nice 22 rifles that need a red dot, but only have the dovetail groove on top. One is a CZ 452 scout, and the other is a Rem 552. I do not want to use a cheap and obnoxiously high 3/8 to weaver adapter. I'm looking for a low, direct mount quality red dot. Do I buy an old Millett tube dot or Ultradot and just use rings? |

Thanks, I've already got that rail on the CZ. But I'd rather have a direct mount optic instead of using an adapter that mounts by digging holes in the top of the receiver.

This is what I use on my CZ 452 Scout SBR. As low as you can get without directly milling the gun. Which I will do at some point.
