I have an IRMK3-60 Trijicon thermal.  I am wondering if it is compatible with modern rechargeable 16340 batteries.  In warm weather, I am not worried about runtime concerns.  In winter, I would probably continue to use CR123A batteries.

Are current generation Trijicon thermal scopes dual battery chemistry compatible?  And yes, I realize I could do an external USB battery pack setup.  For my runtimes, the 16340 battery capacity is fine with modern cells (850mah/3A discharge rate).
