Has anyone had recent contact with Bullberry Legacy for custom Contender barrels? The original owner retired and apparently an employee took over the operation - hence the Legacy name change.
They have a nice website with contact info - I have reached out via e-mail and phone to inquire about a custom Contender barrel with no response.
They list exactly what I want - just wish they would respond.
ETA......How about MGM Barrels? Anyone used them recently? Quality? Customer Service?
In the past, I've always called them and never had a problem getting in touch...granted, its been at least a year since I've had to call. I have a couple Contender barrels in 6mm & .25 Bullberry, and they've always been helpful.
Stuff I learned from A-Team: 1)Always pity da fool 2)Carry wire cutters (you may need to defuse a bomb or start a car) 3)Never trust a crazy fool 4)Carry grenade launcher/machine guns in the van 5)Know how to weld 6)Love It When A Plan Comes Together
After 2 e-mails and 2 polite voice mails with no response from Bullberry, I assume they are not interested in taking my money. I hate when a company will not take 1 minute and response with a canned reply of "Not taking on work at this time - Thank you" or just update their website to reflect current business status.
I have 2 of the older production Bullberry barrels.
My Super 14" 30-30 stainless MGM is a fantastic shooter. Look at their page for available in stock barrels. Sometimes they have a sale on them. When a 10" or 12" .223 barrel goes on sale, I'm getting one.
I hated going to weddings. All the grandmas would poke me and say "You're next". They stopped that when I started doing it to them at funerals.
Placed an order with MGM for a barrel. They said a 12 week wait, which is OK as I’m in no rush. Never did hear from Bullberry - I wonder if they’re even still in business?
