Any suggestions for the red dot on a Gordon build? Not worried about totally clone correct, just something that looks the part without spending 6 months looking for the perfect part and breaking the bank.

It’s what’s on my Gordon build a page back and what most folks are using these days for the look without the abysmal battery life and 4 decades old electronics of the 2000, 3000, or 5000. Just send the caps to HaveBlue for the milling treatment. |

Awesome. Thanks for the answer.

I bought a Primary Arms Aimpoint comp clone but it seems like they no longer offer it. Vortex has some similar offerings.

Will an AEM3 fit on a Colt 14.5 Socom barrel with a KAC MK12 rail? Would I need a custom collar or barrel profile?

Got my AE brake finally now that adco got it back in stock.

I bought all this equipment. What do you mean that the dead AREN'T coming back to life?

Question for the experts. Does this gap seem excessive? The taper of the inner piece of the collar isn’t meshing with the taper on the back of the suppressor.

|
|
To further clarify. The smallest part of the taper on the locating collar is .88
Attached File The largest diameter of the suppressor is smaller than that. Attached File |

Wrong sleeve for an M4 suppressor. That sleeve is for an AEM5.

I bought the collar set from Adco. What would be the best way to get the correct collar? I paid them to fit it.

Ah, that's why the second batch of collars has several spare inserts! I'll need to update the listing so I know going forward that if someone is buying a Gordon collar its for an M4 or an AEM5. Send me your M4 collar and I'll have one of my blanks opened to match. Sorry for the confusion. |

@bigbore @k31user
Thank you gentlemen. I’ll send bigbore an IM regarding shipping back. Ron, any news you’d like to share regarding a run of M24s? I know I sent you a message regarding being added to the list for the next batch. |

Anyone running an AEM3 by chance?
I'm considering putting one on a 10.3 mini recce, admittedly mostly for fun/why not. The weight and OAL seem like a sweet spot given that I don't want the rifle to turn into a total pig/musket. |
|
|
I forgot that I had an AE22.
I did up a 20” cut rifled barrel with a tapered gas block. It has an SF M4FA now but when the stamps back it’ll get cut to 16.5ish for the AE22. |

I have it on a mini NSW recce. 12.65" with a spikes tapered gas block. For the size and added length it’s hard to beat. The overall length of my mini recce is only about an inch longer than my mk18 with NT4. Nice compact package but can still reach out and touch something. Next to my AEM5 it’s hard to tell the difference. Attached File Here’s a video: https://youtube.com/shorts/GEuy79kpyx0?si=Oj_pkmSLN3X6yn3V |

That's the data he'll need for a collar. |

What is this measurement on your barrel (and how many turns do you get)? Attached File |

From edge of port(start of thread) to start of taper should be 2.5".

So who's the go-to for turning down a blank to fit an AEM5-30? I would have asked CLE in the past but I don't think they do that type of work anymore.
