How long have Form 3's been taking? I won a gunbroker auction on Feb 4 for a Rex MG7 30 cal can. Dealer in Utah said he sent the Form 3 application in sometime the following week.
Still no movement on the can |

I hated going to weddings. All the grandmas would poke me and say "You're next". They stopped that when I started doing it to them at funerals.

Anywhere from 2-10 business days on average the last month.

Way too long now, 2 to 3 weeks. These should be instant, all they have to do is validate each FFL and SOT and move the fucking serial number from one FFL to the other. All of that should be automated at this point. FFS. /rant

I just asked the same question in a different thread. Bought a can 2/23/23. Still waiting for F3 to clear.

I'm waiting for two form 3s. One at 3 weeks and the other is a week and a half. Both from silencer shop.

Currently have one sitting at 10 days, Silencer Shop.
Feels bad when the time to transfer the can to the dealer will probably take longer than the approval these days. Looks like my Form3 was approved the day I posted this, so 10 days. |

Yep been waiting for my form 3 to clear for my Rugged Oculus since 25 February.

My F3 last week took ~48 hours.

Mine got to the dealer last week. Finally going to do the Silencer Shop kiosk F4 this morning when they open.
Dealer in Utah submitted F3 on Feb 6th. Arrived at the local shop Mar 15. Utah dealer overnighter the can after the F3 was approved on Mar 14. |

I bought one on March 10, probably from the same dealer in Utah, haven't heard anything yet about the form 3 coming back. Hope it's soon!
Edit to add: My form 3 was approved today. (10 days) |

Not a dealer, but not fast enough. Have 2 pending from Hansohn...one is close to 14 business days. Hoping it's approved this coming week.

I've harped on how all NFA should be, but the ATF would give nothing away if eF3s were instant approvals. They are going from one known, licensed entity to another. All necessary vetting has already been performed. There is no reason they should not be automatic and instant. |

It's pretty absurd when individual Form 4's are getting approved faster than Form 3's. Just more obstruction and it should be an instant transfer. |
