In case you didn't know ...

You will still be able to see at least a partial eclipse in Florida April 8th between about 1 pm and 4:45 pm. Depending on where you are in the state you can still see between 60 and 82 percent of totality. :-) Further north and west improves your viewing time and amount of eclipse. Pensacola will get 82%, Jacksonville about 70%, Orlando and south about 60%. Depending on where you are your viewing could actually be better than the last one in 2017.

I was surprised people at work didn't know this (in Jacksonville) so I thought I'd drop a PSA here for y'all in case you didn't know.

EDIT: The next total eclipse to pass over the US will not be until 2045 but will pass directly over the entire state. I'm thinking I may not be around to see that one though.

Not into Pagan ritual shit. "between about 1 pm and 4:45 pm". Prime nap time.

From the way everyone was talking about it I thought none of us were supposed to survive this eclipse Pretty neat seeing a crescent sun though! I'll endeavor to persevere until the next one I guess...
