I wouldn't mind attending this... I'm getting a little bit more free time on my hands at work and I'm working fewer weekends lately (good that I'm still hourly and not yet salaried). I feel like a good shoot with some tannerite or MGs would be a hoot! I'd bring out a couple friends, too.
If we do have a shoot, and IF there are people with MG's there, please give us a heads-up so we know what caliber of ammo to bring (or what $$ it would cost). Likewise, if someone's bringing out tannerite. BTW, what does it require (Money and/or License{s}) to buy a case of tannerite? Where to buy it? Forgive my ignorance as I've never had the $$ to buy Tannerite and I might be able to afford a little bit this upcoming summer (especially if I get a promotion this May). -inuhbad |

Saturday isAlumni Training Session (Fundamentals) so the Princeton range will closed to the public until after we are done, and Sunday is Handgun 1, so the rane will be closed to the public then also.
So this weekend is out

So, WTH is going on with the spring 06 shoot? Any news yet?
Just wondering whether or not we're all going to get out on the range for some blasting or what? Also, a heads-up for you ammo-whore types. There isn't hardly ANY ammo to be had at Streicher's... They're almost 100% out of ammo. They have a little 9mm, but for the most part their 45 ACP and 223 are almost gone! They have no Federal HST or Hydrashoks, they only have a couple hundred rds of 45 ACP FMJ ammo, and about 6 boxes of .223 American Eagle (120rds total)... They don't expect any ammo coming in soon either. |

Defensive Edge Tactical Handgun is May 20th and 21st, this will create some conflicts of interest.
As far as helping Kenny out at the range, I feel it is wasted time and energy. Kenny wouldn't care and/or give a break to anyone who did help out or commit time, money, machinery or supplies. |

Every time I have been there while the machine gunners were shooting, you could hear strays whistling over your head. Not every round, but probably 1 round out of every 3-4 bursts of fire.
I agree that the machinegunners pit needs to be cleaned up. I would be happy to spend a day cleaning up for a free day to shoot, but if what dpmmn says is true, I doubt that will happen. |

I have been thinking about getting incontact with my friend, and see if some people can come out like we did in January.
Right now as it stands, I will not shoot at the Machinegun Pit. I will not donate money or my valuable time to kenny to clean up a trashdump. It has been three years since it has been cleaned up, and the berm has taken alot of abuse in those past three years including 4 "Real Machinegun Shoots". In 2005 it was really starting to show wear and neglect. The shooters lanes have holes in the floor and I have noticed people stumble and get cought in those holes, Greatfully they did not have a "Hot Weapon" in their hands. If the owner (kenny) does not give a shit, why should I, and why should you give him money, it is not going for any repairs on the range to make it safer for all of us to shoot at  Anyone disagree with me on this or am I being a prick? |
