Hi I am from the Corpus Christi area and I am trying to get some arfcomers together for a shoot or bar-b-que or some thing along those lines. If you're interested or know of any one in this area who might be please let me know!

i tried to e-mail the one from Portland but i am not sure if he got it? we need to get together and do some shooting/bar-b-queing and maybe drinkin, lol
drop me and e-mail if you think the others would be interested, might need a place to shoot. i shoot at Schienky's in aransas pass but he's very particular about member ships $50.00 a year but that for the hole family.

sounds good i am off Sunday, Monday and Tuesday nights, i got to go to work around 7:30 (19:30) so if before then that's ok as well, all other nights I'll be working but i am up for it whenever i can get some time just let me know

i'm at work from 8-5 m-f

i have my son every other weekend (this is one of those weekends)

all other free time is spent at the bar down the road from my house but i'll see if i can't drag myself away. well, that or you could just go there!

Depending on the weekend I may be able to come...
I am in Rockport a couple weekends a month.

Where is a range in A-Pass??? Is it indoor or outdoor?

it's a out-door range about 1 mile from walmart. if your looking at the front of walmart if is to your right and on the right side approx one mile down named something like Scheinke's. The owner has a storage place right next to the range so the sign might say something about storage aswell. the fees are 50.00 a year for the whole family ex.. wife and kids under 18

not to bad from sun up to sun down tue-sun

there will be a "carbine match" put on by coastal Bend Shooters on the 4th sunday of this month at Starry's gun range in CC tx i think it starts at 10:00am the range is off yorktown and i think the fee is $16.00 it is a fun shoot the targets are no longer than 30yrds away, 5 stages.

he was using a 1911 pistol,

my score was

due to the fact that i tried using a mag coupler on the 5th stage and had some motor skill problems

and i was also using iron sights and 85% of everyone else was using a dot/eotech.

my 12 year old is going to shoot the next one with his M1 carbine, so that ought to be interesting.

hope to see you there they are alot of fun and every one is really nice!

I will try to go to the get together at Hooters, on Thursday. I might not be able to make it though because I have something else going on in the afternoon and dont know how long it will take.

As for the carbine match I would be interested in that would an SKS be a suitable carbine, its all I got at the moment.

yes i think that would work fine. i saw a guy shooting a 7.62 style ar and another shooting the korean daewoo ar-15 aswell as a M1 carbine a girl was shooting.

Yeah I went to a carbine match last year with a buddy. We got 2nd(me) and 5th?(him). We had identical guns. 16 inch with a forward grip and Holosights. That combo was great. Unfortunately I traded my upper for a gun. SKS it will have to be this time if I go. But the 30rnd magazines are really needed.

I will have to humbly/gracefully bow out of the thursday get together over the weekend my wife decided since my sons birthday is on good froday this year she would rather hold it on thursday

so that puts the brakes to my fun day anyways y'all drink an extra beer for me.
