I attached velcro rounds to keep the lens covers out of the way.
I'll try to get some pictures tonight of the illuminator at 40 yards.

This illuminator is no joke though, you can light stuff up further than I'd be comfortable shooting for sure. 500-600 yards at least. Attached File Attached File
