Hate to do it but I just don't use 16" ars anymore. I have fired zero rounds out of it all parts are like new( maybe handling wear etc) except the barrel has some scratches on it blems, battle scars ha,  It however is unfired.

I used one of the last 2A slickside receivers to come out that is forged not billet. I tend to use my remaining F/A 2A receivers for my last builds.  

16" Hanson profile .223 wylde barrel, 1/8 with pinned block.
MI lightweight 12.6" handguard,
Strike dust cover.

It makes about as light a build as you can get for a 16" without going titanium.
