For sale is a factory built FN M16A4 USGI upper receiver, with KAC M5 rail.  

Receiver is "F" marked, standard rifle ramps, F-marked FSB, and FNMI 1/7 markings on barrel. Hard to find factory configuration (typically you see P&S rails, and CAGE marked re-barrels), in cherry condition for it's age and lineage. Most likely a USMC upper.

I purchased this as "NOS condition" from OOW about 10 years ago, and it's sat on the rack ever since--I never fired it, and it is unmolested in original configuration. It appears to have as least been factory test fired as there is evidence of carbon on the gas tube, but no bolt markings on the chamber face. Very clean unit. Upper is dry, and oil-free for the photos to show as many details as possible for the discerning collector, but the upper looks far nicer in person. Matches Milan, IL era LMT black anodizing perfectly.

Being a factory assembled upper, I'm not going to open it up. I cannot see the date code on the barrel, but the Knight's rail is clearly marked as KAC - Titusville, with a date of 03/30/06.
