here are a couple of hard to find original vintage Colt "light flat head" firing pins.  older M16 rifles came with these pins until phased out by the current round head firing pin. the collar looks to be a different shape too.

the shinny one in the picture is a modern firing pin put there for comparison.  the ones for sale are the two on the left.  the spots on the surface is just minor age discoloration and not pitting.  these could be polished to look new but i think the vintage appearance that they have is nicer.  the pins are perfectly serviceable and these will not slam fire as can happen with the even earlier "large flat head" firing pins.  perfect to make your retro rifle more authentic.
