For sale is a used smith and Wesson 649-2 bodyguard (humpback) in .38spc

These are a bit harder to find than the already hard to find 649 variants. The -2 represents the final iteration and literature that came with the gun approving it for +P use.

I have fired this gun with 10 rounds of FMJ .38 and it printed extremely well. When I got it, it appeared unfired (having rings around only two opposing charge holes) but was clearly carried by someone as seen in imperfections in the finish. There are some light scratches, and surface nicks here and there. I tried to capture those in the photos.

I bought it for the same reason as the person before me, to carry it, but I have 2 other 649s so this one is going down the road.

Bore is clean and fine, functions fine, timing and lock up are great. Sights are true.

Grips aren’t SNd but look nice and complement the SS finish well.
