Modern replica of the venerable long range Sharps rifle used by the buffalo runners of the plains.  It was built by Chiappa/Armi Sport and is in Excellent condition.  I'm the original owner and have used this gun only in BPCR shoots using my black powder paper patched bullet hand loads, and it's won me several 200yd matches.  I've also used it to ring 24" gongs @ 800yds.  My main loads were 81 grains of Swiss 1-1/2F under a paper patched Accurate 520 grain slick that I cast with 16:1 alloy, but have loaded down to 400 grain slicks over 65 grains of BP.  The double set trigger is smooth with a super light let off measured in a few ounces.  I'm getting on in years and the big gun has been a safe queen for the last few years, time to let her go to a good home and usage.  It weighs a good 12lbs, has a 1:18 twist for heavy bullets, and has a clean and shiny bore with a well cared for muzzle crown (I Never neglect the care and cleaning of All my firearms).  The sight system is from Lee Shaver, his Supreme vernier rear with adjustable Hadley eye cup apertures, and a spirit globe front.  As a modern steel replica it will have no issue with smokeless cartridges.  For those new to these guns and wanting to experience a good taste of late 19th century history, I'm happy to share my decades of PPB (paper patch bullet) loading knowledge.  This complete rifle cost was over $2k about 5 years ago.
