Looking really good...this may be the reason I finally buy a PCC.
That triangle arm brace is genius. |

Ya!!
If these come out in September then they with make the perfect birthday present for me! Now time to find the proper stock and clone some Russian special forces vityaz-sn builds! Attached File Attached File |

@PalmettoStateArmory
Would you be able to show us a better picture of the rear sight? Also, do these have a optic side rail? What furniture does the 9mm gun take? It looks to be M92 all handguards. We can assume 1/2-28 muzzle threads? |
Fucking awesome!! I definitely will be buying a bunch of AKs from you guys then. At minimum one 9mm, 5.56 NATO, and 6.5 grendel.
One question, does the 9mm have muzzle threads, or is the brake screwed on to the gas block? If it does have muzzle threads what pitch are they, as i intend to suppress mine. |
@MDStroup,
It is threaded, and the threads are 1/2 x 28. Thanks, Josiah |
That is SO awesome. I love the wood/triangle-brace flavor.
PSA FTW with the wallet-extraction super powers. |
You guys are so awesome!
Is that a bolt release on the left side of the mag well or is that a secondary mag release? Also, on the model with the Magpul handguard, are you using the MOE AK handguard or the MOE AKM handguard? |
I'm pretty excited about these coming out. I'm hoping they are awesome.
When will the PSA Scorpion mags be out? What are we looking at in terms of price on these? |
Is there any way to get notified when the 5.56 version comes out? I'm planning to buy as soon as that's available.
would be interested in more info on the 6.5 Grendel please. For example, mags used.....
If they have hinged top covers and common barrel thread patterns I can see a 9mm and a 6.5 in my future

I was planning on getting a scorpion, but I may hold off until these 9mm aks come out. Ill have to swap the rear trunnion to a 4.5mm folder though.
Argh.
I got out of the AK game because I wanted to keep my rifle caliber logistics simple with just 5.56 and .308 and that is it. Nope, not one more caliber to add. Verboten! But then PSA comes out with a 9mm AK. I have a lot of 9mm. Damn you Palmetto! |
@PalmettoStateArmory
Can you post pics with mags inserted - brace folded and extended? Just wanna see the complete profile of the pistol and drool. |
I really like the look of the middle one with the SBA3 and magpul handguard. Will you guys be offering a 7.62x39 pistol with that same config?
I'm in for a 9mm AK..............will the ones with the side folding brace be available with synthetic furniture?
This first link is of our PSAK 9mm, the second is of our PSAK 5.56.

@Aramark
Pricing will be announced shortly, but will be very competitive in typical PSA fashion!! Thank you, Josiah |

Why no 5.45? View Quote |

Quoted: Don't take this the wrong way as i love the 5.45, probably more than the 7.62. Hell i want a 5.45 with a side folding stock. But the fact of the matter is the 5.45 is less popular than the 7.62. The main driving force in America for the 5.45 was the 7n6, and since that cant be imported any more there is less interest. Since PSA is a business that are out to make money. So they came out first with the calibers that they know most people will most likely buy first, then the others after they establish more experience and a good rep. Honestly if PSA want to make a statement they should come out with a 5.45 pistol first. View Quote You make several good points and I agree with you. I will add: - 7.62x39 is a fine deer/hog hunting caliber, while 5.45 is not (not for deer anyway). America is still a hunting nation in rural areas; tons of deer are taken every year with Mini-30s, ARs in 762, SKS, and yes, AK-47s. I predict the 47 will always be more popular in the U.S. for that reason alone. But add to it: -7.62 is domestically manufactured by most of the major manufacturers, while none of them produce 5.45. The closest major ammo makers ever came to domestic 5.45. Was Hornady's offering - which still relied on Russian made primed cases. As we have seen, imports of ammo can easily be eliminated - starting with the executive Chinese / Norinco ammo ban against China, and more recently the various bans on certain Russian ammo/components (ie I can't get Wolf primers anymore; import banned). Thus, 5.45 could disappear from the U.S. market, while 7.62x39 will live on in the even of an import ban. I am not knocking the 5.45; just throwing some support behind PSA's business decision to go with the 762 first. |

I really like the red wood furniture 9mm and im looking forward to these with money at the ready ….
9mm and 6.5g are both going to be verrrrrrry hard to ignore...
Please please please please give us a shoulder on the barrel and 1/2x28 threads on at least the 556 model, if not both. Anything less would be heartbreaking.
Looks nice, not sure how I feel about them though. But if you make one in 7.62x25 Tokarev that accepted PPSH-41 mags I'd be all over it.

Bumperoni
Because I want one of those 9mms and a folding brace thinger for my build that I'm thinking about doing. |
