Are they all of Korean manufacture? Is Romania exporting a version? Has anyone tried them? Are they anywhere near as reliable as the old Norincos? |

The reason I ask if Romania is making 100 rounders is because I see several brands and not all of them list place of manufacture. Is Romania actually the manufacturer of the 75 round wind ups?? Are they Norinco clones? Back in the day Romanian 75 round drums were all top loading. Seems like it would take some major retooling to switch to wind up type. |

It's possible but they've been imported for quite a while and there are minor differences in the stampings. If the South Koreans can reverse engineer why not the Romanians? I do have a Bulgarian Arsenal (10) marked drum that was actually a Chinese export workaround but they soon got busted for it by customs and no more were imported. |

Originally Posted By Bhart89: I’ve never had any issues with the Korean wind ups. The biggest complaint is the tiny pin welds holding the top end together are known to break under heavy use. I only had that breakage problem with my SKS drum but my AK drum is still chugging along without issue. |
