Basically looking for the lowest profile barrel clamp picatinny rail mount I can find to get this light snug close to the barrel like this. Unfortunately most of the AK barrel clamps tend to be 3/9 o'clock, or all three (3, 9 and 6 with the 6 o'clock sticking out far enough for the cleaning rod to go through, which is more than I'd prefer). I'd like it nice and tight, just enough room to throw the lever. Anything out there like that? Or as close to it as possible?

Couple things I can think of: 1 a cheap barrel pic mount 2 do some woodwork and get a long section of m lock pic rail to bolt to your handguard and grind away what you don’t want. If you ar handy with a belt grinder you could grind the area attached to the handguard smooth. 3 same as above and use one of the zenico/clone gooseneck looking things that are designed to attach to a rail. Deal with a side mount and get a quality piece from rs regulate or Midwest industries. I don’t think any will mount as tight as you have in your picture though. |

Honestly I agree. I was looking for the same thing a long time ago when I wanted a draco. Didn't find much. But I could be wrong.
