This is my first AK, so I am new to the platform. I picked up a used WASR. I was told it had 300 rounds down the pipe. I stripped it, cleaned it, and went to shoot it for the first time today. The results: When shooting sellier an bellot fmj and Tula FMJ it would fail to extract and leave a case in the chamber and jam the next round. (See pics below) I could drop the mag and hand cycle to extract the empty. no marks or gouges on the empty cases. The Tula FMJ would also fail to eject and get caught between the carrier an chamber and or stove pipe. (Se pics below) it did not matter which mags I used results were the same. Now here’s where it gets really weird it would run flawlessly with TULA 124 he Hollow points.

Let me know what you guys think. From what I’ve read this thing should eat all of this ammo without an issue. |

Swap that extractor. Little out of spec. Shouldn't matter what ammo you feed it. |
