Last time I bought a parks kit it was $99 and came with the barrel intact. Center fire systems currently has $200 G3 parts kits with original barrels right now and Cetmes even cheaper. Will AK kits with barrels come in too? Anybody know or heard anything? |

There were a few Romy kits, but they sold off quickly. The days of unissued original barreled parts kits for cheap are gone. The barrel ruling is relatively new and it will take awhile for the flow to pickup imo GB is likely your best source for now, OG barrels and parts kits. FB groups are also a source, but Meta is really tightening up the rules and it's AI is getting wise to the trading. |

Who knows what they will cost but $200 G3 kits with barrels has been excited to get back into it. I’d prefer to tool up to build AKs again. Sold all my tools from back in the day. I’m tempted to tool up to build G3’s but the weapon builder tools are pricey. I bought hundreds of mags when they were $0.10 lol and still have them with only one HK91. |
I used to think why on earth would someone buy a kit for $150 when you could get a fully built AK for under $300 That's good to hear they are coming back in with barrels. Surprised some company like PSA doesn't buy them all up or even these smaller builders. Hopefully ammo becomes more available for import and we can get affordable x39 again. I know we're not getting 556 kits imported. |
