While clearing shelves for Operation MMA (Massive Mag Airdrop) to get mags to our MA brethren before the Eye of Sauron gazes upon them, I found these.

I'm in no way an AK guy - but they look like they might just be something special.

You know... It's absolutely amazing what you can find when you've been collecting for a few decades.

Hmmm.. I think I'll put them with the pre-89 Norinco 56s I asked about earlier. I get the feeling that would make one hell of a bundle for a serious collector.

I have a few somewhere and I dont even remember where they came from, probably a gun show in PA in the 90s. Quite rare and as noted, will bring good money from the right person / collector. If you or someone you know have a chinese AK, keep them. If not, and want to unload them, I would say set a high reserve on GB and see if anyone bites. Edit - yeah sell them with a Type 56-1!

I have a Tula and an Izzy bakelite from years ago. Are they really bringing big prices again? I remember when the market was kind of flooded.

I have 3 pristine Bakelites that I bought off of eBay ten years ago. Never will sell them. Great addition to the collection and still have factory ink stamps on them. I got lucky. Must have paid $50 per mag.
