Those of you who SBR’ed their Arsenal 106/107 URs - did you cut the barrel flush to the front sight/gas block or use a washer as a spacer to leave a little barrel sticking out?

Thanks.

I have 2 5.45 guns I sbr'ed.

I left enough barrel to crown and thread in 1/2 x 28 so I can use ar15 muzzle devices on them.

The nub on this one fits right inside the traditional one. So depending on the device it can go either way.

This one the nub is too long and hasn't been cut down yet since I have not decided what's going there permanently. It's got a fake suppressor as a thread protector at the moment. But the lantac dragon in my bits box looks sexy too.

On a side note, what information did you enter on the form 1 for manufacturer info?

You have to pick from their drop downs. Pretty sure it was Arsenal.

Interested in this too, I am just getting started on a 107cr SBR project and have the dead air wolverine on order.  Looks like it would be necessary to cut flush to use the can, yes?

Generally it's done flush. I have cut some for people a little longer so that extra bit of barrel can be threaded 1/2x28.

I have a couple 107's that are sbrs. They are both cut flush with the AK142B. I was back and forth on what I wanted, but griffin makes adapters if you have to use a different thread pitch, and that solidified my choice for a flush cut. I use a putnik for my alpha clone and my other I have a griffin adapter and toss on whatever.

AEnemaBay cut and crowned my last one and did a fantastic job.
