Ban era, black Monte Carlo stock, bayo lug ground off, still has the 10 rd mag, still shoots, goes right into an extra wood SKS stock I had that I was going to inlet for an M model. Any value to the gun and stock complete or go ahead and put it in the wood and shoot the heck out of it?

If it were me, I'd leave it in that fancy Black "Monte Carlo" stock and keep shooting it. Put a white "3" on the side for the "Intimidating factor"  Factory Stocks were made for dinky little Chinese. Good luck on your "D" model conversion Amigo. Bigger_Hammer

| I had an identical stock laying around here for years, never put it on the rifle just because I thought it looked tacky. A friend of mine came by ,a real expert on the SKS and he told me ,you oughta put it on there,that’s the best commercial stock you can get for that rifle, I installed it and lo and behold. I can actually get a cheek weld and see the sites. I’ve never taken it off,if I were you and I were going to actually shoot the rifle I’d leave it on there. |
