Question... Anyone swap-out the original wood buttstock for something more practical, tactical and COMFORTABLE? Right on man......that's it! I knew I'd seen it "somewhere"....just couldn't remember where... I guess I might have overlooked it...I was starting to get sucked-in by all the $250.00 plus items...  ...THANKS for the info....and the reality check....and helping me stay within budget.... I finally received a reply from Bravo 18... Here is a quote.. "We get that design of buttstock from Mako. Its called a GLR-16 (B). It includes: . Reinforced plastic Composite. . Fits all AR15 buffer tubes . Built- in storage compartment . From & Rear Sling Grooves . Attached rubber Buttpad . Lifetime Warranty I found this peticular buttstock here... IF....you do a search for "GLR-16" (NO quotes)...you get almost 2-pages of results. There are several types of this part #...some folding, basis stock, and complete buttstocks kits with various amounts of adjustments and with/without buffer tube...etc. Prices on this model...no matter which level you choose...are fairly reasonable...
