Are the Draco magwells enlarged after they are imported, like the WASR's; or are the imported with a full size magwell
that accepts a standard AK-47 magazines? |

Nope, they are cut at the factory for std. double stack mags.
Not opened up stateside like WASRs. I'm told that's the difference between importing pistols & importing rifles into this country. My '15 Draco has a nice clean magwell, the '13 WASR looks like it was done with a can opener. A dull one. This is also why there's so much variance in WASR mag fit. Mine was sold with surplus Romy mags, and that's what fits best. Later ones I've seen that came with poly mags seem to be cut to favor that type mag. |
