Does anyone have one? While my "AR" is fun to shoot with iron sights I'm thinking some magnification might be nice. Wondering what power scope, eye relief, mounting options, scope height, etc. |

Think I'm gonna have to do something like that. I got a couple of the $10 dust covers from sarco about a year ago, so will probably weld or attach a picatinny rail to it. Then get a 5x prism scope. Sarco also has some bipods for like $40 if anyone needs one. |

Do you have a .308 or .223 galil? What model? Original import or recent clone? My .223 AA imports have a side scope mount (the left side lighting cut) and I have the scope mount that mates to it. However, I believe that there dust cover, handguard and gas tubes available that can accept an optic. Personally I like the irons on a galil so I dont bother with optics. If I wanted to go this route I would consider the B&T product mainly because they tend to make good milspec stuff that works as intended. |

They had some for 40, looks like they're OOS. Getting one of $50 and sandblasting and repainting might be worth it. Just replace a broken spring. Still seems like a good deal if they are at all serviceable. And ya, I know how much good condition one's cost, had to buy one for my ARM last year
