I've got a buddy asking me a question that I honestly couldn't answer.  What other folding stock AKs were used during the Vietnam war OTHER THAN Chinese type 56s?  Were any of the "Soviet aid" AKMs shipped as AKMS'?  Any other countries?

Any underfolder in production at the time. I've seen Romanians as the angled milled style tube stock is a dead giveaway, dong or not.

I've also seen photos of AMD65s in Vietnam.
