How are you guys doing it? Is there a decently priced source for VCI type bags to store them in individually? Anyone tried a Food Saver to vacuum seal them? I have plenty loaded in MTM cans, I'm talking long term storage to hand down to my toddler some day.

| I bought a roll of VCI paper from Daubert Cromwell a few years ago. I have wrapped a bunch of stuff in it, including AK mags. I haven't opened them but I suspect they are rust-free. |

Light coat of CLP and into gallon size freezer bags. I've had a bunch stored this way for years. Checked on one bag out of curiosity and the mags looked just like when I packed them up. The other half of my steel mags get no special treatment other than being stored indoors and they are just fine too. At the extreme of this subject, steel AK mags that are rusty, dirty, and/or beat to crap still manage to work. |
