Hi.
I could use some assistance regarding a Maadi AK47. I’ve attached some photos for review. The rifle was purchased around 1997 by the current owner. The rifle has all the ‘evil’ features - wood stock set, black pistol grip, threaded barrel, bayonet lug, cleaning rod, etc. This rifle came with a bayonet and accepts large capacity magazines too. I read last night that the only 'pre ban' Maadi rifles were imported by Steyr. This one is an INTRAC Knoxville, TN. Would this rifle require all the altercations to be 922(r) complaint? Thanks for your time.

I have one for sale. These have single hook triggers, thumbhole stocks, threaded barrel with a welded threaded cover. Cut the welds, unthread and then you have to find a way to get the detent to work.
Great guns. Change the trigger to a G2 Tapco, add their wood kit and you are good to go. Or use a USA mag along with the trigger kit. |

If the break screws off to the left, it was rethreaded for sure. Correct, both were post ban. The ACC had threaded barrels, the Pars did not. Both are excellent rifles. |
