Actually, I picked up a beautiful svt-40 I had for 6+ years before I finally fired it. Never wanted to deal with having to field strip and clean right away after corrosive 54R. I have the same rifle - added a grip from FAB Defense and a Slovak muzzle brake and it's my best shooting gun. Only thing keeping me from shooting it more is my inability to replenish the ammo I use up.

Somehow the Czechs designed a milled rifle that is lighter than a stamped AK and has less recoil. AJ |
