Nice rifle man, but damn I'd be afraid of burning myself on that gas tube without an upper handguard. lol

Thanks!  I was worried about that being a problem, but in the 8 months that I've had the rifle, I haven't touched it once.  The donkey dong used as a handstop works well and keeps your hand away from it.

Purchased today on the 4th of July.

Brand new Saiga Legion IZSL-332A. 7.62x39. Haven't even cleaned it for the first time yet. Quite literally just pulled out of the box.

To be honest, I don't know that much about AKs. Always an AR or M14 guy. But I just wanted something different to have a good time with and not spend alot on ammo. Lurked on the AK side here for a little while and figured now was a good time! Looking forward to learning a thing or two on Soviet rifles

I really like this!  I went a different route with my CR.

I just got done replacing the Ultimak with the MI rail tonight.  The pistol grip is far enough foward and short enough to where it does not interfere with reloads.

Picked mine up at Scottsdale Gun Club. Come to think of it, It was the last sale of the day on July 4th. Before taxes, the price tag was $819. But I'm putting more money into it as we speak. But I just bought a Romanian wood set off of EE, and hoping to find some good steel mags as well.

Just pasted in the "enough of the traditional stuff," but I'm just so happy to have it back and upgraded!  (I've had this since 2008, when I traded a Taurus 1911 straight across for it, sold it to a friend, and just re-bought it)  Just got the MI rail and compensator today and went to work.

my "little bit country, little bit rock 'n roll" WASR.

ETA: shit––shoulda paid attention, could've "owned" page 112...instead, I'll just lease this space.

My growing family of AK's, to be joined by a 12.5" Triangle Folder 7.62 and Izzy 5.45 this fall/winter, and eventually, an underfolder 5.45.
1. Romanian G-Kit with original barrel, tapco slot brake and refinished funiture. (Getting Timbersmith Black Laminate)
2. The new one, Arsenal SLR-106FR
3. AMD-65 kit with chrome-lined 14.5" barrel, spaced and permanently attached slot brake, and fixed stock. (Interesting to shoot at night, as the entire notorious AMD fireball now goes straight up )

Is that Tula one of the models that Atlantic Firearms is selling? If so, what do you think of it? I'm seriously tempted to pick one up but want to make sure they're more than just overpriced WASRs or SARs.
