By the way Scotto1, I know it's a little different but that blue stock set on your rifle looks awesome! I'm more of a purist and am not in favor of much of anything the Russians didn't do but that looks exquisite!

Flogger 23, thanks for sharing those Cali pics, question for you, your Romanian rifle, has it been permenantly fixed to be Cali Legal, say you were a service member who was stationed in California, then reassigned, or a California Citizen who moves to another state, could you remove that black plastic California legal grip, and replace it with a regular AKM pistol grip?!?

Rifle can be easily converted back to normal. Can be done out of state only though (say you cross the border to NV for a day of shooting, or move). It takes high capacity magazines to. If you are in the military and are stationed in California, no need to Cali-bastardize it. You get legally get a form which exempts you. You can bring in an assault weapon, just no high capacity magazines. I am not sure how it is done, but head to Calguns.net for more information. You will have to finish the paper work before you bring the "assault weapons" into the state though. |
