| Does anyone have a lead on a shop or dealer that currently has Md.65’s builds for sale? I suddenly got the itch to add one to my collection but every site I’ve checked is sold out from the large dealers like Atlantic to custom builders SMGCO. Even GB seems to be devoid of that particular variant right now. |

| Thank you for the replies up to now. I should have pointed out that I’m a collector and not just a casual AK enthusiast, and that I’m searching for a quality finished product that is professionally built to be an accurate clone of the original rifle. I’m not interested in the ass pain of buying a kit, receiver, all the other small items for a build, tracking down a smith that can turn something around within three months, and dealing with the shipping headaches. Been there, done that, and tired of the process at the moment. Also, not interested in PSA’s half-ass attempts at authentic receiver engravings and other high visibility markings that add nothing of value to the rifle and distract from the overall build quality. I know I will just have to exercise patience and monitor the EE across the different forums, search GB, and watch some of the known builders that periodically put out great builds in small batches. I just wanted to throw the question out there to see if I might get lucky with a good lead that spares me the wait this time around. |
