yes, I'd rather have an RPD too.

After getting behind a PKM, they're really hard to get a site picture on and aim, at least in the prone, from my experience. Only shot 1 once.

I got to experience a PKM on both ends. I wasn't all that impressed shooting one, the non-disintegrating links were a pain, and the RPK was much, much easier to work with in confined spaces like vehicles. On the receiving end however, the PKM was an absolute nightmare. Damn thing didn't seem to care what you hid behind, it would go through it...

Apparently the Poles refinished mine prior to exporting it to the US, but it would've looked fine with some honest wear.

It's the most enjoyable way to fire 7.62x39mm that I've ever encountered.

It bothers me because it's an older project guns receiver that has a purple tint to the blue and a parkerized barrel. I may just strip those two and cold.blue them and wear it to match the rest
