Wish I had the same experience as some here. Grabbed a blem with the wood furniture from Atlantic the other week. I will say right off the bat that this is the nicest put together Galil clone I've ever handled, and ALMOST went ahead and submitted a Form 1. Unfortunately, it can't get through a magazine (three new RNL mags used) without multiple failures to eject. Empties are getting trapped lengthwise with the mouth of the case getting crushed against the breach.
It's almost certainly a bad extractor/spring, and luckily, I had a new legacy extractor I put in but haven't had a chance to shoot it again. Just instantaneous deflation in my enthusiasm for this purchase. |
