If I would like a system that quickly converted from a 2-point to single point carry style, again, neither alternate does that. However if I had a TAPCO Sling System, both my wishes would have been granted, AND backed by a lifetime guarantee. Those aren't found too often with 30 year old canvas straps. But thanks for giving us options. |

In the 2 Point configuration, the main body of the sling can extend out to 52", snap the adapters on each end and you will get another 8-10". Of course you can reduce the main body down essentially as small as you need it. |

I got this sling to go on a converted Saiga. Was hoping to use it in a one-point configuration, but found I would need an attachment point that my Saiga doesn't have. I've seen other one-point systems with an option for a ring of webbing to cinch around the front of the stock, just behind the receiver, with a QR buckle to attach to the one-point sling if you didn't have an attachment point. I was assuming that this one came with something along those lines, but this sling doesn't come with that option. I blame myself for not looking closely enough at the photos to realize it, but you may want to reconsider rephrasing this: This is a modular sling system that can be worn in a 1 point or 2 point configuration on virtually any weapon.The kit includes everything needed to change configurations.
The sling does seem very well made and I like it; it just does not seem to have everything to run as a one-point sling on my gun without additional pieces. |

I know this thread is ancient, but any news on if you guys decided to make the small straps longer so you can wrap it around a solid stock for a one-point on an AK? That is the only thing I'm waiting for to consider buying this sling. Someone posted a neat way to use paracord from the base of the pistol grip that would work with the hook on your sling, but I would rather have the strap wrapped around the buttstock. Just looks more secure. |

Currently we have not made any changes to the sling straps. We have looked at s separate strap tha twould fit the fixed buttstock, possibly on an AR and AK, OR just lengthening one of the straps. But as of now, we haven't made any changes to the product. Sorry, i'm sure that wasn't the news you wanted to hear... I'll make sure to post up in the new products section with a "Version 2" type heading when we make the changes to the system. Thanks, Damiean |

Yeah, not the news I wanted to hear. I do think just lengthing one of the straps would be your cheapest solution. Hell, if someone doesn't use it for that they can always cut it off, right?
Well, you let me know and I would buy one. Would love to truely have one sling fitting all three types of my rifles. That would be awesome. I look forward to it. Thanks for the response. |
Forgive me, but I don't 'get' this sling. 
There is not much info on it anywhere. I have been leaning towards the Blue Force Gear Xtreme sling, which although more expensive, does seem to have better transition abilities. Am I missing something or is this sling simply a variable single point / two point arrangement and all the parts are included to cover most rifles? |
