Knowledge of AK's isn't nearly what it is for AR's, so asking the forum for some help. Have a chance to buy a Kassnar that's still in the box unfired with all the goodies. Owner wants $2,250, which sounds high to me, but considering the shape and the fact it has everything that it normally comes with, maybe I'm worong. Am I off base thinking it should be closer to $1,800 or so?

| Those are the sleepers of the AK world. The Chi Com stuff gets more hype and the bulgi and ruski stuff is hot now but i would take one of those over any other 7.62x39 gun except a Valmet. Check out the bolt carrier - full auto trip is in tack and serial numbered to the gun - opps! |

Looking for a fixed stock example. |

I keep telling myself I need to take it out of the box and go to the range, but my other AKMs seem to make the trip and never this one. Maybe 10 years from now I'll be happy it's still unfired, or maybe by then I'll have sucked it up and used it like the tool it was built to be. For a 35+ year old rifle, it's just in such pristine condition. |

I have several variants of the SA85m including some KBIs that I converted to AMD-65 SBRs. In the end..the one my dad bought me back in 1986 is the one I still use the most. Attached File |
