I purchased a PSA wood stock set with the ALG trigger.  What does this detent and spring do (FSB perhaps?)



Also, the trigger sleeve that came with it doesnt fit the ALG trigger.  Not a big deal, just information.

Looks like an auxiliary spring to increase the weight of the trigger pull.

You are correct.  The detent is a safety stop also....found an instruction manual online.
