My PSA krink has been flawless for exactly a year now. Been suppressed now for the last 3 months. Roughly 1k total with half of that being Tula steel case, no abnormal wear yet. I love this little trash blaster

I miss the various 106's I've had but was worried about throat erosion seen on early batches. 74 in 5.45 is still the best, but when 7n6 got the axe that was it. I do want to pick up one of the Gen1 13" Galil rock n lock pistols to stamp, but the pricing is through the roof. Sig (San) 551 is my grail gun but pricing will keep me from ever getting one. So in 5.56 I only have the Belgian variant.  |

I just traded into an MDL PAPM90PS from Zastava. It came with 10 Bulgarian mags, one "19" mag with a Pod Arms follower and a Zastava-branded optic mount with RMRcc. What am I in for?  Attached File |

I didn't realize it, nor did my buddy who had it, that the MLOK slots were real MLOK. Saves me the trouble of finding handguards. I just need a top 1913 rail and I can go full tactical lol. Attached File ETA: I think I've identified the Bakelite magazine as an East German 5.45 mag converted to 5.56 and the pistol grip is apparently a really nice Russian Bakelite grip. |

ETA: I put a Magpul VFG on the rail in black and one of my Surefire Scout lights. I need to get a push button switch for it, then it's good. Attached File Nevermind, I forgot I had one. Attached File 2nd Edit: The factory cleaning rod didn't stay in the gun and my buddy still had it. I looked around the house and found a spare Yugo SKS cleaning rod, cut it down and refinished it with cold blue. Much, much better fitment. ok, you are just up the road from me i saw...i am in Boiling springs SC and you are in Lincolnton? my comparison is with a sar 3 or zastava honestly i asked in the ak files and they answered with essentially no answer other than arsenal etc ( i had arsenals.. finish was crap and they did nothing my sar 1 didnt ) |

| Speaking on Arsenal rifles. It’s a love hate relationship. Actually loved the rifles overall. But the three I owned all had something wrong. Not nit picky stuff either. I don’t remember the # but a 7.62 Arsenal had a front sight block crooked. So bad it was unusable with irons. Then move on to the 106 series. I had an early model and a late model. But had feeding issues. Early was supposedly chamber / feed ramp not playing well with each other. Jam about 4 rounds a mag. Quality federal ammo. The late model 106 had a documented mag height issue. From what I think I know, it was due to the wrong spacer used to set the rear of the mag height. Riveted in. All circle 10 mag was used. Both generations of mags. Had several people IM me that they also had the same issue and what they discovered it was. I love Arsenals products. I hate their mistakes on an expensive rifle. Even back in the day they were priced up the chain. WD |

My only current 5.56 AK style rifle is an IMI Gen 2 Galil ACE. It don’t look like and AK. But it is as far as the action goes. I owned two ea Arsenal 106’s. An early model and a late model. Both had feeding issues. That what pushed me to the Galil Ace. It’s been 100% reliable with a few hundred through it. It’s different and kinda cool . No regrets. I wished my 106’s was reliable. I would still have them. I prefer the old school look. But can’t own a jamming firearm. WD Attached File Attached File |
