In recent years, I've standardized around Yugo BHO mags. Yugo mag followers have only one clip holding the top of the magazine spring to the underside of the follower. However, unlike other AK magazines (Chinese, for example) that have two clips under the follower to hold the spring in place, the top of the Yugo magazine springs end with an upturned hook that sits inside the 'hump' in the follower to keep it (the follower) from sliding forward (circled in red in the picture - a correct Yugo spring). Other AK magazine springs are flat at both top and bottom. I recently noticed that one of my Yugo magazines had a 'flat' style spring without the 'retention hook', allowing the yugo follower to slide around a bit. Am I correct in assuming that a non-Yugo spring ended up in my Yugo magazine? And that all Yugo mags should have the upturned-hook-style magazine spring? I know it's splitting hairs but just wanted to check before I take this particular Yugo magazine with the non-hooked style spring (NOT the one pictured) out of my 'go-to' rotation...
