Hey all,
Fixn' to do my first AR "build" and have a head scratcher concern. I really like the Faxon 14.5 gunner barrel but it has a midlength .625 gas block requirement. I'm wanting to run an old school 2pc removable midlength handguards. My frt retainers are all for .750 gas journals. Is there a workaround for this or should I just get a damn Gov/socom profile with .750 journals and move on with it? lol Thanks, Mike |

Be aware, not all mid gas handguards fit circular retainer caps. Most mid use triangular.
