Thanks for the support, guys. Corporal_Chaos, the mount is a cheapy, too. It's a Classic Army (of Airsoft fame). I'm not actually into Airsoft; they just make good place holders until I get a few clams saved up.

I know, I know there are many different feelings about an 11.5" w/a long flash hider. I wanted to put one together so here it is hope you enjoy! It is a Oly lower with a no name upper and a Wilson barrel, and the hider is tack-welded on. Oh and I love my EoTech!

16" Bushmaster patrolman's BBL
RRA Upper.
RRA Enhanced BC & Bolt.
Stag Lower and RRA internals.
RRA 6 Pos. Stock.
EOTech 512
ARMS #40a BUIS.
A2 FS - Solid bottom though for less dust in prone.

I need one of them tall front sights since Bushmaster doesn't use the taller FS base. Shoots as good as my 16" non-chromed rifle. Chowed down on 120 rounds of wolf today without a hiccup. Me likes!!

Nope. It's just a standard Bushmaster Carbon 14. I replaced the stock, buffer, spring, and bolt carrier with stuff I liked better, but that's it. Works just like the real thing, only lighter.

Grunteled has a Hogue grip. RRA sells them with their mark on them too, FWIW.

Didn't see your post till just now. Yeah it's a Houge grip, but I purchased it from Eagle Firearms and I guess they are a big RRA outlet. Best damned grip ever! I love it. I won't ever go back to an A2 grip again.

Are they making them for the Carbons yet? It doesn't have threads, it has some sort of three-lug quick disconnect. If they have new muzzle devices out, I'd snap one up in a heart beat.

Suprisingly, I like it a lot. Could stand to be a little lighter up front but I like 'em nose heavy.

I'm really starting to dig the shorter length of pull. Very quick and comfortable.

Yeah, its just an adapter though. It clicks on like the muzzle brake but is threaded.

Thanks. That was my first build. I think it'll be my new hobby because now everyone and their dad wants me to build them one just like it.

I'd like to get a daniel defense, but for now I'm just gonna go with a rail that will bolt onto the M4 handguards.
