Mike, it figures about the time I run across one of these finally... AR-10B upper with the BCG:
But it sure does give me hope that you guys might be doing a proper narrow FSB, etc. ANY chance/plans about doing an AR-10B receiver that would take the proper waffle mags, or other AR-10 early-style parts that I could use to build this out with? |

OMG. I,m thinking WAYYYY outside of the box with this AR-10 / Armalite AR-15 thing. Imagine if one of you "Machinist Types" got a NDS-32 "Trigger Charger" upper, machined out a slot in the rear of the handle area and used an elevation wheel off of an A-2 upper in this slot as an elevation wheel just like on the AR10? Of course some metal filling will be required first. I would think some of the A-2 sight small parts might also be utilized? (I,m gonna have to dissassemble some of my toys tommorrow and really think this thing out. See what happens when you guys start this shenanagans? I wont sleep again tonight (thanks) thinking about this, Retro Sickness.

I got my sets in yesterday. I was actually surprised at how hefty and solid they were. Now I just need something to put them on.

Got my handguards ordered and they shipped yesterday for delivery Monday–– they will look very handsome on my AR-10B, which came with a set of A2 handguards molded in brown plastic; I was very disappointed. Rifle shoots like gangbusters, though. An old-style front sight would go a long way toward that retro look I'm after. (Hint, hint) I took the opportunity to order an Uzi receiver for yet another science project.
Tell Mitch I said Attaboy.

Talked with Mike today at Nodak, ordered the handguards and a waffle mag. Cant wait for the "GOODs" to arrive. Those guys at Nodak are always a pleasure to talk to and do buisness with.

I also bought a pair of the handguards. They will also be going to John Thomas. While I was at it, I had to buy the trigger charging upper, and some of those cool waffle mags. I am very interested to see what ideas (hint, hint: Pictures) of what the other group members do with their exciting retro goodies from NDS.

Yes, the 32 works on the 601.
We don't have any extra caps, they go with the sets. Don't let your woman open your packages anymore dude.

If she asks whats in the box tell her its nunya All that is good news. I can just order from Sherluk, no sweat. I may just have everything shipped to work or my FFL from now on. Move up to Tier 1 RBRD.
