We have sold quite a few (10.5"), and were picked up by 4 more distributors.

We are getting so much interest on Colt style uppers. Bought a Colt style lower, and are in the process of testing with our upper. Required small change to our BCG, likely be offering Colt uppers when we do our next run of BCG's.

As far as Lefthand, I suspect that will be a bit of work. The fixturing to machine the Uppers may make that problematic, I will look into it next week. We have a couple lefty's who did a good bit of T&E on the Upper for us. It ejects at 2:30 ish so it wasnt that bad.
The charging handle is AMBI, as well as 100% of the controls on the Lower |

@FMP One day I hope you will sell just the upper and handguard/charging handle. Then when CMMG starts to sell the parts for their new Guard we could add the barrel and bolt from the CMMG Guard to your side charging platform and have the ultimate 9mm AR15!!!!
|

Thanks man, when manufacturers listen to consumers, thats how cool stuff gets to market. We are working with another OEM to license our stuff, to do an epic a 5.56 rifle. We are open to everything.

FYI If you sign up for Brownells email, they will be doing a Labor Day sale for our products.

It's funny you say that... I was thinking the exact same thing, with a colt mag well lower. That would be a true MP5 slayer. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

I'm saving my pennies for my 9mm AR and the FM looks like the one to go with. |

They are pretty tight-lipped about other calibers, but I'm hoping for a 9mm. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes |

Point take, we are a paid advertiser now, we have been busy with doing demo's and getting the RTC Lower in production.

We are doing an 8.5" next FYI. Hybrid BCG a few weeks out as well.

Sorry if this is a remedial question, but does the LRBO work with other lowers- besides the Foxtrot Mike proprietary lower?
Thanks |

Finally was able to take my 9mm build, w/FM-9 upper, out for a test drive. Other than ASC mag issue, which is a quick and easy fix to the mag, the rifle ran flawlessly! What a fun firearm to own.
This build started with a standard 5.56/.223 80% lower(now machined), standard LPK and buffer tube, Kaw Valley 7.5oz buffer w/heavy spring, added a Hahn dedicated conversion block, and 16" upper from FM Products...using a Cmmg COLT bcg. I want to thank Foxtrot Mike and the guys from FM Products for doing the research and field testing for the use with COLT lowers. Also would like to say that their customer service is top notch, willing to go the distance for their customers! |

We are anxious to get our Colt compatible parts online, and our BCG are in production now. Thanks for the review, FMP

Agreed, hard to balance a slim handguard and weight and making something that is compatible with everything.

Sweet deal on a 9mm upper!
I have one, they are nice.... http://www.primaryarms.com/fm-products-16-9mm-complete-upper-15-m-lok-rail-fm16-9mm-3 |

New at Brownells, the FM Products 9mm Side Charging Upper Receivers The Foxtrot Mike 9mm Side Charging Upper Receiver mounts to Glock® magazine compatible lower receivers. The upper has a non-reciprocating charging handle located on the top left of the handguard, much like an MP5. When not in use, the charging handle folds down to avoid snagging on gear or apparel. The included handguard features M-LOK attachments on the sides & bottom, and a full length Picatinny rail on top. The 4150 steel, nitrided barrel is chambered in 9x19 with a 1-10" twist & 1/2-36 muzzle threads. Includes nitride bolt carrier group.

I know nothing about PCCs, and I just impulse bought the 10.5" from the primary arms deal. I've got a standard AR lower sbrd and I'm planning to pick up one of these http://www.torkmag.com/g-block.html
Ive got 9mm glock mags, but what else do I need to buy? Are the blowback spacers for the buffer tube a necessity? Do I need to pick up a heavy buffer too? |

If I plan to run suppressed primarily should I think about an 8 or 10oz buffer?
|
|
Our uppers are designed to run suppressed, we recommend using a heavy buffer. When we tested our uppers suppressed, we used a combination of steel cared and sub sonic ammo, and it ran 100%. Several thousand rounds tested suppressed 0 issues.

When are the lowers shipping? I bought one at Glockstore and afterward found out they weren't in stock. There is absolutely no mention that they are out of stock or about a pre-order on the website. You may want to say something to them before others are upset regarding your product when it's not your fault.
|
|
We had no idea that was happening and get several emails a day about it. We expect to start shipping in 1-2 weeks, and will provide updates when I am able. Its safe to say that there will also be a lead time for shipping etc, to GlockStore.
|
|
thanks for the update. I saw elsewhere that you will be shipping ready to complete lowers first is that still the case?
