Ended up being $180 with tax and shipping ($17 for shipping!). Still, $180 for a 1:7, 4150 CMV chrome lined MP tested M4 barrel with a FSB installed...I cant pass that up. |

Unless you have a ton of patience I would stay away from IceArms and go with Voodoo, got this via email on the 20th from them Not financially but physically. People are asking "WHERE ARE YOUR NITRIDED BARRELS !!" Well the blanks are sitting here gathering dust. We had a major failure in our chambering lathe which was just fixed today. So we are back in business !! Affected barrels were as follows: SS Rifle Gas 18 SS/Nitrided Rifle Gas 18 (new) SS/Nitrided ML 18 SS/Nitrided Poly Rifled ML 16 (new) 4150V Nitrided ML 16 SS/Nitrided ML 14.7 (new) SS/Nitrided CL 11.5 4150V Nitrided 11.5 4150V Nitrided 7.5 SS/Nitrided 6.75 (new) SS 300 Black Out 8.2 Now that we are back in business the following will happen. Any stainless barrels will be available immediately after production (18 RG, 300 blk out etc) early next week. The rest are on the way to be nitrided and will be available about January 7th. Our nitrider does a really good job and has a very fast turnaround. |

Looks really nice, $325. Description sounds like they really put some effort and quality into the barrel. I am so broke. No can do... But i would in a second if i had some extra money. |

Of those two barrels the fluted one is the standard barrel. The MEDCON, or medium contour, actually has more material removed. If you read the description, it says they took as much off without sacrificing accuracy. My opinion is choose whichever one you like the look of more. Aside from the profile, they look to be the same barrel. Why the huge price difference? Beats me. I actually ordered one of the MEDCON barrels for the gun I'm working on now. Should be here by weeks end. |
| I like both, although I like looks the flute more maybe? Is it really 70 plus dollars worth more?Other then the looks of it I don't think it would be maybe. I guess depends on the build your doing as well and if your going for more of the looks for your setup maybe? |

Not really worth the money, unless you absolutely love the way they look. There are some small benefits to fluted barrels such as enhanced cooling, but they are small. |
