One of them, (a 20" DCM with a 1:9" twist) received the "double-cryo" treatment. This barrel is the tiniest bit more accurate than one of the other two Krieger's and the tiniest bit less accurate than the other. So, I really can't say one way or the other if cryo really does improve accuracy or not.

I have noticed it does to a slight degree. this comes from many a 10/22 and 2 Ar's done by One-Cryo in Orlando FL.
The real difference I have noticed is again consistencey. I have noticed a big difference when I had my Colt AR-15-A2 carbine done. The groups stay tight and they dont string like they did before cryo. Again what trigger do you have in the mamma? : ) |

Be sure you have a gas block that will fit under the LaRue rail, there's not a lot of free space in there. Naturally the LaRue gas blocks work great, unless you have a Krieger barrel with a 0.937" gas block seat. Mama is currently sporting a Geissele match trigger; the finest AR-15 trigger I've ever used. |

And yes the guys at Larue tell me the gas block on my SPR is good to go thats why i bought the Larue, rock solid and very slim profile compared to other handguards I have. You guys at Arfcom are the greatest and worst. Great advice and comaraderie. And worst on my check book. i see a total Larue build in my crystal ball. What really sucks is they have a full .308 rifle now. check out larueosr.com |

Molon: how much accuracy difference habve you noticed between the longer barrelled rifle and the next one closest at mid ranges 400-600 yards? Is the extra length and weight worth it for something like coyote hunting a field where you are carryimg?
