I don't know the exact terms of your "jail sentence" but for most of us, pre-ban was the status of the firearm (lower) and not the accessories. Are you asking if this constitutes a folding or collapsible stock? I don't think it's either, rather, the keyword is "modular" |
Aye, the firearm itself is "preban", I had 2 (there was this boating accident, you see.) I just call the evil features "preban" to differentiate. Those pinned M4 stocks wouldn't be "preban" and a fake FS wouldn't be as well. Its just a term for it... I'll have to look up the text of the CT ban and see what I'm looking for... my future bench gun won't have a bayo lug, flash hider, or that jazz so I may as well make it on a post ban lower. Nothing like getting teased, going on 5 months and not one update.
I was talking with Magpul today and was inquiring about some of their other products for LE use...The M95 IS progressing toward production, but no firm time table. They did state they have had an INCREDIBLE response thus far on the unit. |

On release date all I will say is that molds are being made right now. We will make the LOP as short as we can but the limiting factor is the full size buffer tube. |
Our Coyote Brown is very close to the new "flat dark earth" but we do have plans to change Coyote Brown products to the new color as speced by USSOCOM. OD will likely remain the same as it matches Armalite, Cav Arms and a number of others. We are also looking at a new gray color to add to the standard offerings. |
Magpul sucks!!! Just when you think you have them about cornered they come up with new stuff that is awesome! I am surprised I haven't see a couple things from Magpul yet - a verticle forward grip and some sort of bipod. Right now their MSS 93A, 93A2, and 93B stocks are top end stuff. The M95 promises to take up where the 93 series stops.. The trigger guard (just got done installing them on all my rifles) they make is so simple but effective it hurts. The MIAD, even though it is still pre-production, rocks - comfortable plus very practical - one of the best grips out there. Not to mention all the various magazine accessories... It doesn't end! Yep, you did see one of these stocks in Shooting Times. Good eyes. It was a prototype we had a chance to test, and it rocks! Cannot say enough good about this stock......just wish they would go ahead and start selling them so I could buy one...... Is also in the new Guns&Ammo Book of the AR15 in a 6.5/6.8 article.....worked great...hated to send it back. |
