Yes we have tested it in every way possible. It's a very secure clamp putting a lot of force on the rail and the mount side has a lot of rail engagement. You cannot see it from these pictures, but there is a channel in the mount that keeps tha clamp from moving fore and aft as well. We've fixed a rail in a jig, mounted FUSION up properly with a DBAL and marked the laser on the wall. Then we have impacted and put pressure on the mount from all angles. If there was displacement of the laser, it returned to origin after the force was removed. I hope that answers your question. Please let me know if not. The displacement is even less critical when using a BUIS. |

Supergyro, we have some more pictures coming, stay tuned.
Halfbreed - It covers 5 slots if mounted flush with the end of the handguard, and 4 if you are using the forward rail extension. L2 Bravo - Dealers are free to package as they see fit. Thank you all for your interest. Below is an illustration on the three different positions you can place accessories to move the light forward or to the rear. Also, the offset rail has two positions, a HIGH and LOW, to give the end user some flexibility. 
And here is one configuration if you wanted to use a DBAL and M600v with a pressure switch forward. Only 5 slots on the top rail are needed and the entire mount only weighs 1.45 Ounces. Or you could use this setup with an extension on the right side, X300U, and XT07. The configurations are nearly limitless and driven by your specific needs. 
Or a BUIS and scout mount for 1.4 Ounces...

Love the concept. I hope further attachment solutions are developed around this design. I had to hack and cut my own to make something similar for a pistol/SBR build I've been working on.
One thing I would advise is to develop a segment that lowers the light/laser being mounted so that a Surefire X400 would be usable in the 12 o'clock mounting position. Even with my Mossie Tactical offset, the laser housing still obstructs the iron sights. Another slick option would be a mount that holds the X400 so that the laser is as close as possible to the barrel to reduce parallax. |
