I think this might be a winner, since the choices are getting thin
I found it for 258.00

I have a couple of these, they are amazing. Lightweight, good accuracy.

Wife has a 10.3 and she likes it, but i've shot both and the 11.5 is just smoother shooting, doesn't seem like just over an inch more of barrel would have an effect, but IME it does, have heard other guys on here say the same.

Some data just for reference:
Spikes 11.5 barrel with A2 FSB pinned + delta assembly installed at the factory
No suppressor
Spikes T2 buffer and Damage Ind. enhanced carbine spring

I don't even use an optic with it, years ago I bought a new takeoff carry handle from a new DPMS rifle I think it was, from another member here on the EE just because it was cheap and would make for an extra BUIS in the parts box. Threw that on there when I completed the build, and pretty much fell in love with peep sights again.

Some smooth shooting man.

Are we in a panic 11.5 seems like it's sold out alot of places, but.... this one is in stock, checking it out, I've read all the posts, I think I want a 11.5

No personal experience with the linked barrel, but Rosco is an OEM to several. Their barrels are are on par with the specs provided.

The Spikes feels great in multiple configurations, but it does have a pretty huge gas port. I've got a .068 equivalent Black River Tactical tube in mine and it smoothed it out greatly. Current configuration with it:

Really dig this rifle, well done!

11.5” are a sweet spot, a bump in velocity over the super shorties, good handling with a can and great balance.

I think were looking for barrels now, can save a lot of cash if you snap it together yourself.

Yes. It's my LWRC Six8 UCIW with a Vox-K on the end. I keep it loaded with 90gr Gold Dots that are running close to 2400fps from the short barrel.

It cycles about 1,000rpm, so a 1/3rd second burst is about five rounds.

So.. I looked at alot of places trying to find the Criterion core barrel, nothing I could find in stock, I did find a Midwest Ind upper with the Core barrel and good hand
guard, it was "with a discount" about 100 bucks more than I could have pieced it together, balance is nice, very happy with the quality of rail and the whole kit, will report back when it's not 200 degrees outside and smoke, and get to fire it Thanks everyone for your help finding this excellent set up.

I run a 11.5 core with a 10.5 MI handguard and it's my go to gun. It balances and performs beautifully. I think you'll be happy.
