So let's hear it, what do you keep in your grip storage; batteries, pocket knife, an extra few rounds, shoelace, slim jims?

Do they sell kits for storing in a pistol grip or foregrip and if not would there be a market for something like this?

I keep everything I need in my buttstock.

I did, however, see this storage thing that I would use if I did store things in my pistol grip:

Haha, the slim jims part was a joke, I never thought someone would actually have some goodies to eat in there

I think it would be cool to have a small first aid kit or gun repair tool and parts repair kit to have for field use, you never know what you might need (like firing pin, brush, lube, etc).

I need to see If I can fit those items in my stock. It's really tight in there with the G.I. cleaning kit.

Now that I think on this a little more, I'm surprised that no one has come up with (or at least I haven't seen) a rail-mounted storage compartment of some sort.

I can understand carrying spare parts and repair tools if you're taking a class or OPERATING in an AO.

But for me, if my CARBINE PLATFORM WEAPON SYSTEM goes down, it just goes back in the case and I bring the water jugs in a little closer so I can shoot them with my pistols.

(Starburst get stale after a while in the VFG, so they may not be best for tactical snacks!)

I've got five carbines and a 20" A2 rifle most of them have just air in them.

On my main two carbines the one with an Aimpoint only have five extra rounds in my MIAD grip, the battery for the optic is inside my LaRue cantilever mount.

With my carbine with an EOTech it got optic batteries in the MIAD grip core and a small lube bottle in the VFG.

Now, my VFG is where I keep most of my goodies. My Tango Down has an extractor, bulb for my M3X as well as zip strips to remove the grip. Batteries for the scope/light are located in my SOPMOD stock.
