13mm Gyrojets from the late 60-70's. Two different versions with a "Wad Cuter" on the right.
That's a solid piece of nitro cellulose gunpowder with a nitrated piece of string/ paper (orange in color) to help ignition from the primer. Helical jet ports helps to spin projectile for stabilization because the pistol lacks rifling (lands and ends). Enjoy wolfganggross

Somebody should try and make some modern rounds with a higher quality standard. One nifty thing about the Gyrojet rounds is that they are inherantly quieter than standard centerfire rounds with more of a hiss-whoosh than bang! sound.
